This is one of the more hopeful songs on the album. I had some friends comment on the fact that I never write love songs which inspired the opening lines - my answer for “why?” was that I haven’t been in love yet! The song builds on that to say that I’m actively open to and inviting love into my life now (hopefully someone hears it and takes me up on the offer!)
